Extracted & Concentrated Strain Review: Beleave THC Cannabis

At first, I wasn’t sure about Beleave’s THC cannabis oil when it popped up on the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) website.

But with a medium THC potency, it was one of the best deals on cannabis extracts at the OCS that day.

Other oils (that were out of stock) go up to 30 mg. Of course, you can also buy less potent oils or extracts with CBD instead of THC. I like to get the biggest bang for my buck if you know what I’m saying.

The first thing I noticed about this thin water-like oil was the flavor. It vaguely reminded me of amoxicillin in 1983 except, instead of the sweet bubble gum flavor, a splash of Beleave’s THC cannabis oil boasts unique herbal undertones. The main terpene profile featured is Beta-Caryophyllene.

My first dose was precisely 7.5 mg because I thought the syringe that came with the bottle was 1 ml but after closer inspection, I realized its only half. After that, I shot 30 mg as best as I could under my tongue.

Sublingual application, or application under the tongue, allows for THC and CBD to directly enter the bloodstream. As such, the effects of THC and CBD are not diminished by the digestive system process of the liver and onset is much quicker.

At 30 mg, the dose was still a little too mellow for my taste. However, that didn’t make it any less appealing, nor did it upset me any less when I accidentally knocked the bottle over and spilt at least 2 ml (60 mg) of THC oil. There it was, a golden puddle about to spread across my kitchen counter. Well, as embarrassed as I am to admit this, I licked up the mess, yup, just like a dog, and was rewarded with a deeply calming sensation that lasted for at least five hours.

Beleave’s THC oil is extracted via ethanol from a blend of indoor-grown hybrid strains. Overall, I would say this Hamilton-based cannabis company makes a good starter oil for anyone who’s never tried THC.
