COVID-19 Update for Northland Colleges

According to the university’s online COVID-19 dashboard, which is updated every Friday, there were eight positive cases on September 17. There have also been two positive cases on September 10, one on September 3, and one on August 27.

The dashboard shows positive results from ongoing COVID-19 testing administered by UMD Health Services to students, and is not representative of the entire University of Minnesota Duluth campus population. 

Through September 17, the university has administered 44 tests, and 28 between September 11 and September 17.

The dashboard says 27% of tests administered through September 17 were positive, and 28% of tests administered from September 11 to September 17 were positive.

The dashboard says one quarantine room, and two isolation rooms are currently in use. There are a total of 196 isolation and quarantine rooms available.

UW-Superior, and the College of St. Scholastica do not list any information about COVID-19 cases.

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities dashboard indicates two employees and three students at Lake Superior College have tested positive. 

The dashboard is updated weekly.

Here is the number of cumulative cases for the Minnesota State schools since the start of fall term as of Saturday, September 19:
