Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan is set to hold a news conference at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a news release from the mayor’s office.
Duggan is expected to discuss expanded availability to 15-minute COVID-19 testing to all Detroit bar and restaurant staff. He will also speak on how Detroiters can get assistance obtaining their stimulus checks and preventing possible eviction.
The mayor also will introduce the artist selected to install a new art project on Woodward Avenue for the city’s annual Juneteenth celebration.
