Nueces County reports 209 cases, 4 new COVID-19 deaths
The clinic provides free testing via appointments five days a week to the Corpus Christi area

Nueces County reported 209 new cases and four new COVID-19 related deaths Sunday afternoon.
All the new cases are considered to be under investigation. There are 6,174 total cases and 5,632 active cases in the county.
The four who died – two men and two women in their 60s – bring the county death toll to 54. They had underlying health issues including hypertension, diabetes and thyroid disorder, according to a health district news release.
The data reports 338 individuals are currently being hospitalized in Corpus Christi hospitals, 100 people are in the ICU. There have been 542 recoveries.
The data states the Public Health District and other state of Texas labs conducted 58 tests on Sunday. Local hospitals conducted 140 tests. The county has conducted a total of 24,254 COVID-19 tests.

*Hospital data includes number of tests requested through Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Christus Spohn, and Corpus Christi Medical Center. The figures don’t include tests requested by individual doctors in Nueces County. Not all tests have been completed, according to the website.
