Schenectady County Health officials warn of possible COVID-19 exposure

SCHENECTADY — Schenectady County Public Health Services issued a news release on Saturday advising CDTA passengers that they may have been exposed to someone who has since been diagnosed with COVID-19.

In the release, SCPHS confirmed that an individual later diagnosed with COVID-19 rode CDTA Bus Number 370 at 7:05 a.m. on August 12 and 13.

SCPHS recommends that members of the public who rode the bus during those time periods mentioned should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from that date. Should symptoms develop, officials ask that affected persons stay home and call both their doctor, and SCPHS at (518) 386-2824 option 2, for additional guidance.

The elderly or those with underlying medical conditions should contact their physician as soon as possible, even if their illness or symptoms are mild.
