Cut & Dried Strain Review: Subway Scientist

I recently discovered a brilliant strain, and a possible solution for the mental apathy you may be experiencing after nearly a year of COVID-19.

Subway Scientist is an indicia-dominant Granddaddy Purple by RIFF that I plucked from a crowd of cannabis strains solely for its name.

Above price, THC content, and the desired outcome, names are how I choose new strains these days. They are just too fun and stir a variety of wild ideas about how you might spend your high. Will I feel like Einstein when I consume this cannabis? Not really. Should I smoke it at a subway station? Perhaps not.

The next morning, I got horizontal on the couch and had a few long-drawn, genuinely satisfying tokes. After a minute, my headspace filled with sunshine and butterflies. Or, at least my mood rose from a state of ho-hum to happy. Subway Scientist contains a potent dose of THC, ranging anywhere from 19 to 25 percent. Another bonus, in addition to the strain’s amusing name.

After being high on life for about one hour, I felt relaxed and unusually hungry (for the morning). Subway Scientist is known to increase your appetite, so if you typically drink coffee for breakfast like me, then consider this strain. The pinched nerve in my neck also loosened up. It was only 10 a.m. but already looking like a good day. I felt inspired and creative. In total, the gentle buzz lasted for about three to four hours.

Meticulously groomed and greenhouse-grown in Leamington, Ontario, Subway Scientist smells like a potpourri of dark green pine needles and fallen leaves. The hit was smooth. This cannabis strain typically features dark green hues and glittering purple highlights but can sometimes be light green as well.

Subway Scientist is characterized as a nighttime strain but, in my opinion, a dope choice if your afternoon is looking dull.

While it may not be on any top 10 list of scientific breakthroughs of our time, a few minutes with Subway Scientist will unquestionably shape the nature of your day.
